Stephen Harmston Director of Research Stephen Harmston joined VentureOne in May 2000, to develop the company's European database of venture capital and private equity information. Based in London, Mr. Harmston leads a team of researchers that interacts with entrepreneurs and investment professionals throughout Europe. Prior to joining VentureOne, Mr. Harmston was manager of private equity research at Bannock Consulting, where he was responsible for the strategic development and management of Bannock Consulting's venture capital research and advisory projects. Mr. Harmston received a BA with honors in philosophy, politics, and economics from Oxford University, and completed graduate work in economics and technology of e-commerce at the University of London.
